CAD Designer, numerical simulation (m/f)
Duties & Responsibilities
- To perform numerical simulations, suggest improvements of design and manage database of material properties for numerical simulation software.
- To prepare simulation or testing results presentation and distribute to responsible Design Engineer.
- To recommend materials to be used in component production, help maintain list of recommended materials concerning technical and commercial features/ performance.
- To perform material properties evaluation.
-Any other task related to activities of Simulation, Material & Dimensional measurement Team
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering University degree
- MS Windows applications and related Office Software
- Working experience with Simulation tools (Matlab, Ansys, Abaqus CAE, Moldflow)
- CAD knowledge (preferred Catia V5; Solid Works).
- Able to explain and present results of numerical simulations and propose improvements to Design Engineers at Yazaki or customer side.
- Team oriented, communication skills, self-motivated hands-on mentality.
- Business proficiency in English language in spoken and written communication is mandatory.
- Flexible in terms of intercultural-skills, able to travel from time to time and having the customers schedule in focus.
