Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor major market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Define the EI Product Strategy including generic Road Map – then support the definition of the OEM related Business Unit Road Maps (BURM) in a joined effort with Sales
  • Co-operate with European and global Yazaki peer groups to further develop also the global product strategies
  • Drive the cross-functional development and launch of innovative products for selected growth segments
  • In joint effort with Engineering (Design ENG, Manufacturing ENG and Application Design ENG) and Supply Management, define the "generic cross OEM" BOP/BOD strategy in order to mutualise R&D effort, capital spending and get size to optimise 3rd part components cost
  • Drive the quotation process in a joint effort with Sales, Costing, Project Management, Purchasing and Engineering to achieve competitive quote



  • In depth understanding of automotive supply chains with their specific implications for marketing and sales incl. pricing
  • Successful track record in generating profitable growth
  • Persuasive and convincing skills with OEM and Tier 1 customers
  • Professional use of all major Microsoft Office applications and SAP
  • Solid knowledge of TS 16949
  • Leadership skills in direct reporting and matrix environments
  • Oriented for performance and results on defined goals
  • Systematic approach in analysis, concept development and implementation for repeatable and sustainable results
  • Ability to differentiate urgency and importance and set priorities accordingly
  • Intercultural sensitivity with American and Asian contacts
  • Sufficient level of patience in long term endeavours
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and worldwide
  • Fluent in French and English language, very good usage of German language is an advantage
  • Proficient usage of Microsoft office
  • Basic usage of Salesforce
