To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Tooling Team Manager in our plant in [[location]].

Responsibilities:

•    Supervise the tooling team's daily workflow, prioritizing fabrication tasks and optimizing processes
•    Act as the main liaison between tooling and other departments, coordinating with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality
•    Lead end-to-end project planning for new injection tools, managing scope, timelines
•    Track all new tool projects from fabrication to testing, monitoring progress against the plan and communicating status updates to all stakeholders
•    Serve as the primary technical contact for external clients, translating their requirements into actionable plans and managing project expectations
•    Analyze and forecast departmental capacity by balancing machine availability and personnel workloads against current project deadlines and future new tool demand

Candidate’s Profile:

•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
•    Proven experience in a team leadership or supervisory role, with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a technical team
•    Significant hands-on experience in mold manufacturing, injection tooling, or a precision machining environment
•    Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical designs, with practical knowledge of 2D and 3D
•    Expertise in strategic planning, including capacity analysis, workflow scheduling, and resource allocation
•    Fluency in both written and spoken English
•    A proactive, solutions-oriented attitude combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive team relationship and collaborate effectively across departments
