POSITION SUMMARY

The Team Leader I is responsible for assisting the department Supervisor in promoting an orderly work flow within the build process.  This includes leading others to perform the work required to process the jobs, providing technical assistance, and demonstrating and communicating the proper methods to produce quality parts. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promotes key department procedures and processes
• Communicates verbal and written instructions
• Communicates technical information for line set-up and/or assembly jig set-up, and final inspection
• Interacts individuals inside and outside of department
• Reads and understands Authorized Revisions (A/R's) and wire harness drawings
• Provides assistance to the department Supervisor in promoting an orderly workflow on the tasks to be accomplished

• Guides and helps other associates on the established departmental procedures and processes 
• Trains others to perform hand crimping and spot soldering
• Identifies "role-model" standards for other associates

• Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
• Supports corporate policies and departmental policies
• Supports EMS/QMS policies and procedures
• Supports health and safety policies
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Associate must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions
