We’re seeking a strategic and experienced leader to drive the full lifecycle of electronics product design, ensuring innovation, quality, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
➢ Align product requirements with global Product Groups, Strategic Intelligence, and Engineering leadership.
➢ Build and lead high-performing design teams.
➢ Plan and manage budgets and investments for design activities.
➢ Drive design execution in line with company standards and QCD objectives
➢ Lead cross-functional design reviews and approve final implementations
➢ Own and track the Design & Development plan and milestones
➢ Report progress and performance to senior management
➢ Ensure design-for-manufacturing through collaboration with process engineering and tooling teams
➢ Analyze and refine product requirements, delivering clear documentation
➢ Identify and evaluate technical solution alternatives
➢ Estimate design effort, resource needs, and associated costs
➢ Present technical strategies and solutions to internal management
➢ Coordinate supplier quotes for products and services
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electronics product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Experience with cost estimation and supplier interaction
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Strong understanding of automotive design standards, manufacturing processes, and cost optimization
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional engineering teams
• Experience with low voltage electronics in automotive environmental
• Proficient in English.
