To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Systems Engineer in our plant in [[location]].

FUNCTION TARGET:
•    Create electrical schematics as requested by the customer using specific tools
•    Define and design fusing, power distribution, and grounding strategies
•    Ensure electrical schematics adhere to customer requirements
•    Analyse voltage drops and fuse blow percentages in relevant circuits using simulation tools
•    Perform circuit validations prior to release (e.g., multi-crimps, splices, inlines, grounds, circuit option codes, vehicle order validations, etc.)
•    Conduct compatibility reviews with the customer to ensure systems definition meet their expectations
•    Review customer marketing requirements and develop wire harness complexity accordingly
•    Create fuse box sign-off documents for customer approval
•    Analyse and/or initiate product modification requests and drawing updates; create detailed technical documentation
•    Participate in the analysis and management of claims (8D, 5 Whys)
•    Propose and contribute to value creation activities (cost-saving initiatives)
•    Provide on-site support at Yazaki manufacturing plants and/or customer locations (upon request)


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•    Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and/or German)
•    Proficiency in Electrical Systems design
•    Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills
•    Knowledge of quality tools: FMEA, PDCA, 8D
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•    Self-sufficient and self-motivated
•    Effective time management skills
•    Creativity and innovation
•    Proactive mindset
•    Availability to travel
