To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer in our plant in [[location]]. 

What will your job be about?

• Manage supplier-related quality concerns and incoming inspection activities.
• Ensure that materials coming from suppliers are checked according to control plans and incoming inspection procedures.
• Manage supplier communication and support production continuity by following defective part flow according to procedures.
• Monitor and follow the PPAP / PSW status of parts used in the product.
• Provide technical support for the analysis of defective materials in production.
• Initiate and follow root cause and corrective measure activities for internal and external claims.
• Review supplier 8D reports and follow corrective actions with suppliers.
• Report material quality problems to suppliers in a timely and detailed way by using the related quality systems.
• Coordinate the removal of suspect or problematic materials from production and stock areas when needed.
• Participate in cross-functional team activities and support continuous improvement actions.

What will you bring with you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance within the automotive industry.
• Experience in Customer Quality and/or Process Quality will be considered as an advantage.
• Good knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC and Control Plan.
• Good knowledge of supplier quality processes and incoming inspection activities.
• Advanced written and spoken English and Turkish.
• Good command of MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, result-oriented and able to work effectively in a dynamic production environment.
• Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Sakarya or Kocaeli.
