Transportation Specialist (Second Shift - Remote)

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated professional to join our TRS Inbound Transportation team. This is a fully remote second-shift position working Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with rotating weekend morning coverage approximately every six weeks. Team members may also be required to provide coverage on Mexican holidays as part of a shared rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials and returnable containers from suppliers in the U.S. and Canada.
• Manage carrier assignments, freight rates, and equipment positioning.
• Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery and provide timely status updates.
• Maintain close communication with suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
• Oversee inbound operations through the Laredo and El Paso border crossings.

What We're Looking For:

• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable handling urgent issues, prioritizing multiple tasks, and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience is preferred.
