JOB SUMMARY
Provide support to the Central Payroll Department in various essential processes to ensure the company’s compliance with government institutions, while maintaining constant communication with vendors related to the area and guaranteeing the proper follow-up of all post-payroll processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
• Process the payroll stamping from start to finish. This includes closely following up with operations to ensure employees are properly registered, generating and sending XML files, analyzing and understanding any errors that may occur during the interaction with the tax authority (SAT), and providing weekly reports to Management on results.
• Generate and send information periodically to vendors such as Payroll Stamping providers, Food Voucher suppliers, Savings and Retirement Funds, Actuaries, and other entities related to the payroll process.
• Reconcile all accounting accounts to confirm and match information between the Human Resources and Finance systems.
• Address requests and issues raised by Yazaki’s internal clients, mainly those related to the Finance area (Tax, Accounting, Treasury, Accounts Payable, etc.).
• Understand and accurately monitor all provisions generated in payroll calculations, such as Christmas Bonus, Vacations, Vacation Premium, Food Vouchers, Payroll Tax (ISN), Employer Contributions to Social Security (IMSS), among others. Also, seek ways to improve the execution of these provisioning processes.
• Periodically document legal changes published in official media in Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Guatemala.
• Provide direct support to the Payroll Specialist in any critical activity that may arise.
