What you’ll be doing: 

  • Investigation of various wiring harnesses automotive applications using Polymers/Plastics like Polypropylene PP, PA etc.
  • Investigation into material recycling - approaches, related technologies, service providers and suppliers of recycled materials etc.
  • Preparation of test plan & related samples with recycled polymers as main material
  • Testing of prepared test samples against set parameters & characteristics
  • Documentation of results and assessment against parts prepared from virgin materials
  • Analysing potential applications, identifying challenges, and recommending further areas for exploration or development

 

What you’ll bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial material science, chemical or similar engineering fields
  • You are currently pursuing your Master degree 
  • Knowledge of 3D design & modelling, Additive Manufacturing, knowledge of Manufacturing processes related to plastics is preferable
  • Previous experience in the field such as of Internship/Project work is preferrable
  • You have experience in Solidworks, Test Measurements & Setup, and professional knowledge of MS office programs 
  • You have great analytical thinking and problem solving skills. You are a team player, active learner and result oriented person
  • Fluency in English and basic level of German knowledge (written and spoken)
