As the Quality Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of critical functions. You will be tasked with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the quality management system, ensuring its alignment with international standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. This includes defining quality policies, objectives, and procedures across all departments. A significant part of your role will involve overseeing all quality-related activities, from incoming material inspection to final product release, identifying non-conformities, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
You will lead and manage the quality team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing unit. Conducting regular internal audits and facilitating external audits by certification bodies and customers will be crucial. Analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management are also vital aspects of the position. You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain departments to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements. Furthermore, managing supplier quality and conducting supplier audits will be essential to ensure the integrity of the entire value chain. Championing a strong quality culture throughout the organization will be a cornerstone of your contribution.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates should possess :
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Quality Management .
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in a quality management role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or similar standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments and with external partners
- High proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required .
