Position: Production Planning Specialist L1

 

Job Criteria:

 

  •  Level of studies: Master’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent

 Languages:  Fluent in English & French (Good communication and interpersonal skills).

    • .Responsibilities:

Receive the customer’s order forecast and filing properly by timing sequence.

  • Generate weekly Production Plans based on schedule levelling principle
  • Arrange Shipping always meet customers order request and keep a stable level safety stock in SC.
  • Control monthly inventory to meet target and avoid any dead stock at YMO responsible.
  • Share the  EDI variance with key departments for all change on the Forecast, to adjust the production schedule and goods shipping schedule.
  • Review customer orders to verify the production plans, identify and highlight capacity gaps between production capability and customers requirement, in order provide the options for Management Team to make further decision.
  • Schedule weekly meting to involve all open points 
  • Communicate with Service Centre for any non forecast order / pull forward or increase order
    Communicate with Service Centre to get an accuracy inventory data of Service Centre.
  • Analysis of data Result, to ensure that trends and expectations, are analyzed and highlighted in proactive manner.
    put in place the corrective action to improve the planning KPIs 
  • Monitor delivery issues, and take corrective actions as needed
  • Release planned order according to production plan
  • Analysis the achievements and highlight each deviation via daily achievement report.
  • Adjust MPS into EWB & SAP system timely, eliminate the potential risk for production capacity and materials supply crisis

Profile requirements:

  • High personal motivation and ability to develop practical or innovative alternative approaches to meet objectives
  • Oriented to performance & results
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under a Matrix environment
  • Professional use of all major Microsoft Office applications
