 To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Costing & Pricing Specialist to join our YEMEA Headquarters in Lummen.

 

Job description: 

• Perform manufacturing cost estimation and sales price proposal in accordance with calculation conditions defined by BU and OEM agreeded Standard times.        
• Calculate Costing & Pricing for Engineering Changes (ECR's), cost reduction proposals (VAVE's), new drawings and price walk releases.
• Update Offer's calculation according commercial agreements (copper rate; comp. prices; productivities...).
• Track Cost Control Module prices follow up.
• Focus on profitability improvement, by performing margin improvement on cost reduction or price increase opportunities.
• Track margin improvement progress/achievement.
• Defending prices to customer.
• Component prices management (purchasing, sales price, gross margin).
• Follow up actions with Supply Management.   
• Perform and promote continuous improvement activities, ensuring the progress related to speed, accuracy and efficiency of the department outputs.
• Encourage errors registration, following PDCA process and the promotion of lessons learned between the team.
• Support on activties' management, with the coordination and planning of the team workload VS HC, in accordance with the department goals and CSC's needs.      
• Takes part in the Quality Management Activities.
• Collaborates in internal audits when requested.
• Reports all claims that may be received by other means than the CRS system to the Quality Department and its Responsible.
• Participates on Customer claim investigation and treatment.
• Implements corrective and preventive actions and also confirms B113its efficiency.
• Informs the Customer on how and where a claim should be filed.Keeps the Customer informed about the on going claim.
• Manages all claims according to their urgency and severity.
• Treats Customer with courtesy.
• Commitment to the Organization's Management, Quality and AS&S Systems.        

 

Your profile: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering.

• Experience in performing similar tasks in large companies, preferably in multinationals. 

• Product and production process knowledge.

• Understanding of the manufacturing process, supply chain, equipments needed, design    processes, KSK concept, etc.

• Understanding key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish own work.

• Be able to fully understand the relevance of the KPI's and proactively contribute for the business profitability.    

• Impact quality of own work and the work of others on the team, works within guidelines and policies.      

• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.           

• Solving problems in straightforward situations, analyzing possible solutions using technical experience.

• Good spoken and written knowledge of English.     

• Good know-how on Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook…
