To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Coordinator Supply Chain Management & Administration to join our YEMEA Headquarters in Lummen.
Key responsibilities:
• Share expertise, analyses and insights to facilitate decision making and problem solving for the management.
• Report and analyses the performance of the SCM & Administration dept. and, based on that, make suggestions for improvements.
• Assure that all tools/data are available so that the department can achieve overall planned objectives and departmental goals:
– ensure that overall supplier and customer delivery performances are met
– ensure that overall customer satisfaction can be achieved and conduct the yearly customer survey and define proper actions for a better customer satisfaction
– control and support of an efficient logistics supply chain
– stock control, obsolete and excess, premium reporting
• Analytical process reporting and parameter system control settings.
• Minimize stock, excess & obsolete: take the appropriate actions to meet the deadlines/objectives:
– Co-ordinate DRP/MRP planning and processing of actions messages within the department
– Try to avoid excess & obsolete stock and try to sell the created stock to other customers
– Define responsibility for the created stock and issue/negotiate the claims supported with the needed proofs and calculations.
• Calculate cost (premium lines/costs) impact due to material shortages/backlog suppliers and actively follow up on cost recovery initiatives.
• Prepare waterfall analysis to define supplier liability, check agreed yearly volume with commodity buyer/demand & capacity planning team to see if supplier is in delay; review with customer/customer service team recovery potential with the customer.
• Minimize stock, excess & obsolete and premium freight risk; update orders to suppliers (minimum once a week) to meet the latest requirements.
• Data management: Update essential system planning data and align with Central Functions and Supply Management.
• Data Management GPDB coordination (error & deviations report).
• Participate in the resolving of operational problems.
• Continuously implement process improvements projects within the department.
• Define new processes and procedures and optimize current processes (in line with ISO/TS16949).
• Participate in various projects within the department and from other departments: Key logistic team member on meetings with Supply Management (SM), central functions, warehousing and traffic group, management, suppliers, customers … to realize improvements.
• Maintain and improve existing working relationships and communications and co-ordinate with other internal and external stakeholders like suppliers, customers, supply management, management, warehousing, traffic department, central functions…
• Complete special projects and assignments as requested.
• Support bench mark activities to reduce costs.
• Update and implement the ISO/TS 16949 procedures and processes within the group.
• Coordination of various activities within the SCM & Administration dept. in line with the Dept. Manager guidelines.
• Operational support to supply chain mgt & adm. (including EDI problems).
• Support/analyses/provide calculations in case of delivery crisis.
Your profile:
• Minimum 5 years experience in Logistics.
• Bachelor degree.
• General end-to-end knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planing) system functionality.
• Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Decisive and able to grasp new concepts quickly
• Detail oriented with sence of urgency on assigned tasks.
• Desired to improve extisting processes and work in autonomous environmentm
• Fluent in English.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
