The Head of HR CSCs (Director level) works very closely with business management and helps to support our customer service sites in France, Spain, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Sweden.

Besides developing and leading HR for these customer facing functions with key management, he/ she needs to contribute to strategic decisions. The position holder shares responsibility for the business strategy, aligns the HR departments accordingly and ensures effective realization of the goals. He/ she will be given increasing responsibility for the commercial execution of the new corporate strategy, accompanying cultural change and new HR instruments and tools, he/ she will seek to continuously develop and communicate through his/ her expertise. Additionally, the new Head of HR CSCs should act as an enabler and driver of modern HR methods.

 

  • Operational and strategic driver and sparring partner for management as well as for (inter)national specialists and executives in all HR relevant topics and issues across countries
  • Managing and advising the local HR departments in the respective countries regarding their day- to-day tasks, as well es introducing new HR tools. Escalating matters in the case of necessity. 
  • Comprehensive HR leadership along the employee life cycle, with a focus on recruiting and retaining managers and specialists in close collaboration with Talent Management and the Head of HR Europe.
  • Being the driver for implementing new HR methods.
  • Taking the leadership for delicate individual personnel measures.
  • Dealing with labour law issues.
  • Cooperation with employee representatives.
  • Ensure reporting with the Corporate HR department.
  • Active implementation and management of strategic HR projects.
  • In addition, dealing with topics such as digitalization, leadership, organisation and employer branding, which are not only important for the HR department, but for the entire company.

 

Education / Languages

  • University degree, e.g. business administration, law or social sciences with a focus on human resources, or comparable HR-relevant education/further training.
  • Fluent in English and German.

 

Profile

  • Familiar with the entire scope of operational and conceptual HR work as well as good knowledge of labour law.
  • Sound professional experience in the field of human resources, preferably in sales driven environments.
  • Excellent project management and communications skills.
  • Business Sense: translate business issues that are critical to success into HR goals and an HR strategy together with the Head of HR Europe, with a focus on commercial organizations.
  • Leadership skills: lead, inspire and develop the team.
  • Change management skills: anticipate social factors for different generations, life phases and diversity in the corporate context and design contemporary working and general conditions.
  • Solution orientation: proven and new approaches to solve challenges and problems.
  • Networking skills: excellent networker with internal and external sphere of influence, drive and initiate HR issues.
  • Analysis and presentation skills: using data analysis, metrics, and forecasts to highlight developments, opportunities, and risks from an HR perspective and where priority and action is needed.
  • Strong creative will to drive change forward.
  • Good situational sense combined with a diplomatic but persuasive and assertive approach at all levels.
