To strengthen our team, we are looking for a ECS Head of Sales Group Customer in our French office in Voisin le Bretonneux (78).
As Head of Customer Group Sales for OEMs and Tiers in France, Italy and Spain, you are part of the YEMEA ECS Division and of the ECS Sales and Product Management team. With your teams, you take the leadership for the entire sales cycle activities from lead identification to after sales. You work closely with your sales peers from other customer groups and product management and drive the execution of our ambitious objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the commercial strategy of our Connection and Electronic systems portfolio for multiple customer groups, ensuring alignment with divisional goals and long-term profitable growth.
- Lead and develop sales teams, providing coaching, direction, and performance management to ensure capability, accountability, and strong customer focus.
- Drive new business acquisition, manage the opportunity pipeline, and oversee cross-functional RFQ processes to secure competitive and profitable awards.
- Build and manage senior-level customer relationships, acting as the executive counterpart for OEM and Tier customers and resolving escalations effectively.
- Ensure account performance and optimization by monitoring pricing, contract terms, financial KPIs, and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, project management, quality, and controlling to ensure flawless program execution and customer satisfaction.
- Lead major negotiations and commercial governance, including LTAs, yearly pricing, claims, and resourcing discussions.
- Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring accurate visibility of revenue, demand, and commercial risks.
- Champion a customer-centric culture and channel customer insights into product management and business strategy.
- Represent the company internally and externally at executive meetings, customer visits.
What We’re Looking For:
An enthusiastic leader with:
- a proven track record in sales leadership within the automotive industry. Knowledge of Electronics and Connection Systems’ products and associated development and sales cycles would be a strong asset
- At least 8 years of experience managing complex commercial situations with multiple customers
- Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
- Great leadership skills and people development orientation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ease to thrive in a multicultural matrix environment
- Master Business Administration or Engineering
- Fluent level English mandatory + French highly recommended (verbal/written)
- MS office proficiency + Salesforce
- Availability to travel up to 30%
