To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor - Injection Molding & Machines in our plant in [[location]].

Key Responsibilities

 

Team & Operational Management:

  • Lead, coordinate, and provide daily technical support to the maintenance teams (Corrective & Preventive Maintenance)
  • Manage and define operational priorities in direct alignment with Production and Planning requirements
  • Analyze shift daily production and maintenance reports, ensuring rapid response to operational deviations

 

Assets, Costs & Spare Parts Management:

  • Define, adjust, and ensure full compliance with the preventive maintenance plan for injection molds and machinery (Engel, Arburg, Nissei)
  • Coordinate the management of wear-and-tear parts and spares, ensuring cost control and optimized inventory of consumables
  • Ensure proper preparation, setup, and validation of injection molding machines and tooling for production startup, minimizing unplanned downtime

 

KPIs, Quality & Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and analyze operational KPIs (using SAP records), implementing action plans to address deviations and reduce NPT (Non-Productive Time)
  • Actively participate in audits, daily Obeya/Gemba meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, PDCA, Problem Solving)
  • Enforce safety (EHS), environmental, and workplace organization best practices (5S) across the maintenance area and spare parts warehouse

 

 

Candidate Profile

 

Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of proven experience in plastic injection molding and tool/mold maintenance, with a track record in team leadership or coordination roles

 

Education & Qualifications: High School diploma (minimum); a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or a specialized Technical Diploma will be strongly valued

 

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced ability to read and interpret technical drawings focused on injection molds
  • Practical experience with Maintenance Management Systems (preferably SAP)
  • Strong command of continuous improvement methodologies and structured Problem-Solving tools
  • Working proficiency in English (both spoken and written)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High resilience, with a proven ability to work under pressure and make sound, fast decisions
  • Team-oriented mindset, strong technical rigor, and organizational skills
