Account Manager Y-EMEA ECS Division - Mercedes and Daimler Truck
RESPONSIBILITY
- You handle the full responsibility for economic from sales results perspective for the new and existing customer under your responsibility.
- You develop customer relationships to earn respect and confidence via reliable customer support and follow-up.
- You drive the cross-functional activities needed for the design-in and launch of “off the shelf” as well as “new products” related projects (technical and commercial aspects) of your customers.
- You build & maintain a robust pipeline of potential new clients by implementing specific actions to identify new business opportunities.
- You develop relations with Yazaki-EMEA Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS), contributing to building-up ECS’ (Electronics & Connection Systems) image, and you increase the vertical integration for components / electronics.
- You collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to align offerings with client needs.
- You define, support and follow up on budget & forecast for the dedicated Yazaki-EMEA scope.
- You coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.
- You participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company's offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor´s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Finance, Logistic)
- 4+ years of experience in technical sales in automotive component sales
- In depth knowledge of Automotive Industry (Electrical Distribution Systems, Connection Systems, Electronics)
- Experience working within OEM / in supplier environment
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, customer service
- Proven track records in sales, experience in identifying & pursuing new business opportunities, develop & implement effective sales strategies
- Excellent verbal & written com, strong presentation and negotiation abilities
- Ability to analyze market data and customer feedback and address clients issues
- Strong project management and organizational abilities, ability to manage multiple accounts & projects simultaneously
- CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies & tools
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborative approach with internal & external stakeholders
- Ability to travel to Europe & North Africa
- Fluent English language skills are mandatory. Very good German language skills
