To strengthen our team in Filderstadt we are looking for an
Account Manager Sales - Mercede Benz (m/w/d)
These challenges await you:
- Contact representative to customer Mercedes-Benz
- Lead and coordinate the activities aligned with Y-EMEA customer strategy towards OEM (+1st Tiers)
- Manage the commercial account for Mercedes-Benz product line, its revenue and profitability in Y-EMEA
- Strengthen and develop relationships with the customer to accelerate business growth
- Strengthen Y-EMEA value creation competency and visibility at customer
- Manage and support in business development and RFQ activities
- Maintain the commercial records in Sales Force and E-Matrix in line with internal requirements
- Represent an expert-level interface to the customer and take a leading role in negotiations to represent Y-EMEA interests and goals
- Negotiate and maintain correct part and tooling pricing via price brake-down to the customer
- High office presence required onsite our customer service center at D-Filderstadt
Your background:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Finance, Logistic)
- 10 + years of experience in technical sales in wiring harness business
- Proven specific customer expertise & product expertise incl. KLIMA rules and supplier’s data base knowledge is a key requirement
- 7 + years of experience in leading an account for wiring harness products
- Track record in managing complex commercial discussions and negotiations
- Track record in establishing global customer strategies and improving PnL
- Logistics and supply chain background is a plus
- Strong costing / pricing capabilities incl. very good skills in financial project KPIs
- Commercial management to translate and manage extraordinary costs
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical data to support sales strategies
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, teamwork and time management skills
- Ability to travel to Europe & North Africa
- Fluent English language skills are mandatory. Good to very good German language skills
