Location Lansing, MI, USA  

The department Supervisor is responsible for supervising the analysts, machine operators, fabricators, and inspectors in an effort to promote an orderly workflow to produce complete prototype harnesses for our customers.  This includes determining component and material requirements for the jobs to be processed as well as completing requisitions for purchasing the material 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determines material and component requirements for all jobs to be processed
• Prepares material requisitions
• Provides associate training
• Evaluates internal inspection data and prepares the monthly final inspection summary
• Prepares the monthly sales report
• Performs follow up on the procurement of components and materials
• Schedules jobs to be produced and prepares work order sheets for jumper wire production.
• Performs various administrative skills and functions
• Controls appropriate inventory levels
• Ensures associates are following the established procedures to meet the requirements of ISO/TS 16949 
• Leads others to ensure the customer receives a quality part
• Evaluates associate performance
• Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
• Supports corporate policies and departmental policies
• Supports EMS/QMS policies and procedures
• Supports health and safety policies
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Associate must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions
