What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a Finance Sr. Specialist to join our team in La Vergne, Tn. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

The Supply Chain Finance Sr. Specialist is responsible for providing financial leadership and decision-making support for both short- and long-term supply chain management decisions.  This role will address all aspects of SCM, including footprint, contract review, upfront design and process decisions, scenario validation and cost structure to ensure meeting financial expectations and cost improvement plans.

What you will be doing:

•  You will be responsible for driving operational and financial results
• Lead, support and improve monthly financials and annual budgetary processes
• Improve SCM financial acumen
• Provide support to senior leaders across Supply Chain Divisions and their teams providing analysis of performance metrics versus budget and forecast.
• Validate potential savings scenarios and assumptions. Be prepared to advise potential impact of investment/projects and highlight risks and opportunities
• Manage special projects, ad-hoc analysis to ensure highly effective outcomes as a business advisor and provide financial support to optimize Supply Chain costs
• Maintain internal control environment to the highest standards of compliance and integrity
• Drive consistent and accurate reporting for SCM
• Conduct Financial Review in Integrated Business Planning process
• Proof ROI for capital projects
• Represent Yazaki financial needs in all SCM meetings and decision-making processes
• Validate freight payment processes to ensure proper billing/payment
• Ensure adherence to all Logistics-Supply Chain Divisions’ financial impacting processes and internal controls, requiring adherence to best practices as applicable
• Support the Global Supply Chain Synchronized Business Planning
• Contract validation and improvements

What you will bring to the table:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance with relevant certification in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics.

Previous Experience Required:

• 5+ relevant financial experience
• Experience working in SCM
• E2E business experience
• Excellent Excel and SAP skills
• High attention to detail
•  

Preferred: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APICS, Root Cause Problem Solving, Integrated Business Planning

Minimal Travel Requirements

Language English, Spanish helpful
