We are looking for Import Specialist our logistic office for Tuzla- İstanbul Location.

What You’ll Do

  • To follow the import operations from end to end, document control and system data entry, forwarding the work order to the customs broker,
  • Preparing monthly reports and sharing with the relevant manager,
  • Ensuring that the materials subject to import reach the warehouse on time in accordance with the necessary conditions,
  • To ensure that import activities are carried out in accordance with international legislation. 
  • Carrying out the loading plans and follow-up of the deliveries coming from abroad,
  • Controlling the on-time departure and arrival of the cargo with the land transport suppliers,
  • Checking the documents and details related to import and customs,
  • Ensuring that the records of import data are kept and processed into its own system,

Required Qualifications of Ideal Candidate 

  • Graduated from Bachelor degree in relevant departments (international trade, business management, industrial engineering, etc.) 
  • Good command of written and spoken English,
  • 1-3 years of experience in import operations,
  • Able to reside in Kocaeli and its environs or on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, 
  • Having knowledge of logistics documentation requirements 
  • Having knowledge of import legislation 
  • Good command of MS Office programs
