We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Injection Process Controller Supervisor to lead and coordinate process control activities within the Injection area.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring process stability, product conformity and compliance with automotive quality requirements, while leading the Process Controller team and promoting a strong culture of problem-solving, prevention and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate should combine strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes with leadership capabilities, analytical thinking and a proactive approach to process control and quality improvement.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead, coordinate and develop the Injection Process Controller team, ensuring clear priorities, responsibilities and effective daily follow-up.
• Ensure effective control and monitoring of injection molding processes and critical process parameters.
• Guarantee process stability and product conformity according to internal, customer and automotive quality requirements.
• Monitor process performance, identify deviations and ensure timely reaction and escalation.
• Lead structured problem-solving activities related to process deviations, internal defects and customer complaints.
• Apply and promote the use of quality and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa and PDCA.
• Ensure the implementation, monitoring and effectiveness verification of corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyse process data, quality results, scrap, rework and process trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of Process Control Plans and reaction plans.
• Support the definition and improvement of process parameters and control methods.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and applicable automotive quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with CQI 23 requirements and applicable automotive quality standards.
• Support and participate in VDA 6.3 process audits, ensuring effective preparation, implementation of corrective actions and sustainable closure of findings.
• Promote risk-based thinking and preventive quality approaches within the Injection area.
• Support PFMEA reviews and ensure alignment between PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions and actual shop floor conditions.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and other relevant functions to improve process performance and product quality.
• Ensure effective communication and escalation of critical quality and process issues.
• Participate in new product and process industrialization activities when required.
• Promote standardization, lessons learned and continuous improvement across injection processes.
• Develop the technical competencies and problem-solving capabilities of the Process Controller team.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety requirements.
Candidate Profile
• Degree or Technical Education in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Production or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in injection molding processes, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Previous experience in team coordination, supervision or technical leadership will be highly valued.
• Strong technical knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, process parameters and process control.
• Good knowledge of injection molding defects, root causes and corrective actions.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Knowledge and practical application of VDA 6.3 requirements.
• Good knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality requirements.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and MSA.
• Ability to analyse process data, identify trends and define effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Experience in internal and/or customer complaint analysis will be valued.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Good level of English, both written and spoken.
