We are looking for a highly motivated Functional Safety Engineer to join our team and ensure compliance with ISO 26262 standards through the development lifecycle.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

 

  • Manage collaboration with customer and suppliers and represent the organization on Functional Safety related aspects;
  • Contribute to planning functional safety activities and ensure proper implementation;
  • Monitor progress of planned safety activities and enforce corrective actions when needed;
  • Identify and analyze functional safety-specific requirements according to ISO 26262;
  • Support functional safety analysis and report achieved functional safety metrics;
  • Build, document and sustain functional safety case;
  • Support internal/customer audits and assessments;
  • Perform comparative analyses of existing solutions;
  • Identify technical alternatives and document them;
  • Request quotes from suppliers for products and services;
  • Evaluate, select, or enhance methodologies relevant to functional safety;
  • Adapt and configure solutions to meet project needs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • University Degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Electronics, Telecommunications);
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 standard and other automotive related standards;
  • Solid understanding of internal and external auditing processes;
  • Knowledge of automotive electronics product development lifecycle;
  • Experience in applying safety and quality standards within automotive projects;
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
