POSITION SUMMARY

  • Operation of Mule Truck and physical organization of the yard space, ensuring efficient use of space and accessibility for vehicles and equipment. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

  • Overseeing the organization and management of the yard space, ensuring efficient use of space and accessibility for vehicles and equipment.
  • Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinating the scheduling, loading, and unloading of materials and products to optimize workflow and meet delivery timelines.
  • Overseeing the movement and storage of goods in containers/and vehicles in the yard.
  • Coordinating with drivers to ensure that goods are loaded and unloaded efficiently and safely.
  • Maintaining accurate records of what goods are in the yard and their locations.
  • CDL License with a min 2-year Experience 
  • Transports   office supplies from the materials department or other department that requests it.
  • Performs movements of raw materials from local suppliers from airport to the plant when necessary.
  • Performs basic inspection at security points of the transport vehicle at the beginning of the shift.
  • Know the corporation's policies, as well as environmental policies, and participate in assigned tasks in environmental conservation and input savings.
  • Responsible for fueling yard mule
  • Complies with all OSHA safety regulations and company policies and safety programs
  • Performs daily check on inspection of equipment to determine need for repairs.
  • Knows the Quality and Environmental Policy and participates in the tasks assigned to him in environmental conservation and pollution prevention.
  • Responsible for the correct implementation and maintenance of the environmental management system in their area of responsibility. Know environmental policy and participate in the tasks assigned to you in environmental conservation and pollution prevention.
  • Control of documented information. The control and management of the documented information that applies to your process is under your responsibility.
  • Process’ risk analysis. Carry out risk evaluation that may arise in the process, making any necessary adjustments for  process updates, ensuring that risk assessments are reviewed at least once a year.
  • Follows up on corrective actions resulting from non-compliance with objectives. Performs analysis to solve specific problems derived from corrective actions that arise, providing alternatives for their systematic solution.
  • Participation in reporting suspicious activities.
  • Monitoring of procedures and activities related to C-TPAT.
  • Knowledge and application of security policy (C-TPAT).
  • Knowledge of C-TPAT program.
  • You must always carry your badge visible.
  • Always collaborate with routine checks by security personnel.
  • Always report to security suspicious people or people outside the company who could be committing illegal acts.
  • Working knowledge of Federal, state and local truck driving regulations

 

REQUIREMENTS 

Degree Requirements:

OPTION A.- Truncated or ended career

OPTION B.- There may be cases in which the high school is truncated, but it must be complemented with at least 2 Years’ experience in Yard inventory control and   years  CDL License

OPTION C.- If the candidate is internal through a promotion process, they must comply with the internal promotions’ procedure.
