POSITION SUMMARY

 

The IT analyst position performs daily activities needed to manage IT services and support infrastructure (e.g., facilities management) to ensure the overall success of operations. The analyst addresses incidents and requests from users while coordinating with the service desk to identify and mitigate issues pertaining to the IT infrastructure and systems. They focus on the day-to-day activities to maintain stability within service operations.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

 

• Resolves incidents opened and assigned by the Service Desk and/or end users until they are complete

• Oversees operational support to ensure that problems are resolved in a timely and effective manner

• Helps users access information and resources pertaining to their function and utilize building technology efficiently

• Escalates issues to supervisors and tiered support when unable to resolve user or stakeholders’ needs independently

• Provides basic training to end users on equipment support and software tools

• Supports minor technical installations (racking equipment, network cabling, etc.)

• Reviews and manages the inventory of hardware and software at responsible sites to provide information for use and budgeting

• Performs preventive maintenance on IT equipment at responsible sites

• Maintains 5S in all responsible areas (Host Room, Storage Room, etc.)

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Degree Requirements:

Associate degree in a technical or business field required; Bachelor’s preferred

Certification Requirements:

Relevant IT certifications are a plus

Previous Experience:

 

6+ months in IT support; Windows & Microsoft 365 experience required

Preferred: Active Directory, SCCM, ServiceNow, and hardware support

Travel Requirements:

Up to 50% travel (U.S. and Canada); occasional evenings/weekends

Language:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English required

Application/Software:

Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, ServiceNow, and other IT support tools as needed

On Call Requirements:

Occasional on-call support may be required

Physical Requirements:

Primarily sedentary; may require occasional standing, walking, or light lifting during equipment setup or support
