What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for a Team Lead to join our Supply Chain and Logistics Department team in Edwardsville, IL. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.
What you will be doing:
- Assists in organizing daily associate activities
- Prepares reports as required by Management
- Reports and resolves shortages, damages, non-conformances, and other discrepancies
- Maintains accurate department records and documentation
- Reads and understands blueprints
- Provides assistance and training in established processes, procedures, and technical applications
- Understands equipment and materials required to perform the job
- Ensures proper equipment and tools are available for associates to perform daily activities
- Contacts internal customers directly
- Assists management in addressing customer issues and concerns
- Assures that Customer Specific Requirements are met
- Assists Facility or Department Manager / Supervisor as directed
- Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
- Supports corporate policies and departmental policies
- Supports EMS/QMS policies and procedures
- Supports health and safety policies
What you will bring to the table:
- Must be a high school graduate
- Must be Forklift Certified
- Must have 4 years experience in a warehouse or rework environment
