Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Part handling  

Align the workpiece on EDM machine               

  • Electrodes handling

Position the electrodes on EDM machine                       

  • EDM machine 

Prepare all the programs for EDM machine                    

  • EDM machine 

Operate EDM machine                             

  • Measure part  

Measure all the surfaces required to guarantee all the dimensions                  

  • Continuous improvement        

Responsible to improve the EDM process                      

  • First level maintenance             

Perform all the tasks describe in fist level maintenance procedure                  

 

Requirements

Academic Background – Secondary, Tool Design and Manufacturing. Injection Tooling technology.

Minimum professional experience in a related area:

Part and electrodes analysis (8-10 years)

Tolerances analysis (5-8 years)

3D software (5-8 years)

Knowledge - 3D visualization software & tolerances analysis

Professional skills:

CAD program — Edrawings

Spark erosion machine operation (general)

Part interpretation & erosion strategy

Dimensional accuracy & tolerances
