To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Design & Development Jr. Specialist (Technical interface) in our plant in [[location]].
Main tasks & responsibilities (organize by topics):
Key Roles:
- Gather, manage, and translate all customer documentation (e.g. standards, specifications, norms, procedures) from Chinese into English.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels between Yazaki stakeholders and Chinese Customers on technical matters.
- Support live translations between Yazaki stakeholders and Chinese customers, when required.
- Participate in and support production related activities at Yazaki and Customer Plants, when required.
Business Management
- Support the development of working plans, as well as analyze and follow up overall project development plans and customer milestones.
- Support Customer and Yazaki project review meetings, conducted in Chinese and/or English.
- Control and follow up on due dates agreed with Chinese Customers.
Quality Management
- Support the follow-up and reporting of Customer claims received by the Quality Department.
- Maintain regular Customer communication regarding ongoing claims status and/or resolution.
Requirements:
- High School Technical Education. University degree in Engineering is considered a plus (preferable).
- Proficiency in Chinese, English and Portuguese languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with Chinese Customers and Yazaki internal stakeholders.
- Project Management skills will be highly valued.
- Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory.
- Due to time zone differences between Europe and China, the candidate might be required to work in flexible time schedules or working shifts
