Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about numbers? Do you enjoy turning complex data into clear business insights and working closely with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing? If so, we are looking for you!
As a Cost Engineer, you will play a key role in preparing competitive quotations, managing product costing throughout the product lifecycle, and supporting profitability improvement initiatives.


Your Responsibilities
•    Prepare cost calculations and pricing proposals for customer quotations (RFQs). 
•    Support the Sales team with competitive and profitable pricing strategies. 
•    Update quotations based on commercial agreements, raw material indices, productivity improvements, engineering changes, and other cost drivers. 
•    Prepare costing analyses, reports, and documentations to support business decisions. 
•    Calculate product costs, sales prices, and profitability throughout the product lifecycle. 
•    Analyze the financial impact of engineering changes, VAVE initiatives, new product designs, and cost-saving opportunities. 
•    Monitor and maintain accurate product cost structures, pricing data, gross margins, and internal costing databases. 
•    Calculate, validate, and monitor factory transfer prices and intercompany pricing. 
•    Identify, support, and track margin improvement initiatives and realized cost savings across RFQs, projects, and serial production. 
•    Contribute to the continuous improvement of costing processes, tools, and methodologies using structured problem-solving techniques. 


What We're Looking For
Education
•    Diploma or Bachelor's degree in: Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
•    Relevant professional experience may be considered as an equivalent qualification. 
Professional Experience
•    Experience in costing, pricing, controlling, finance, or business analysis within a manufacturing environment is an advantage. 
•    Experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong plus.
Skills & Qualifications
You are someone who has:
•    Strong analytical and financial thinking. 
•    Experience with product costing, pricing or profitability analysis. 
•    Understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures. 
•    Ability to interpret data and transform it into business decisions. 
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach. 
•    Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
•    Good planning and organizational skills with attention to detail. 
•    Proactive mindset and willingness to continuously improve processes. 

Technical Skills
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel 
•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) 
•    Experience with ERP systems and costing tools is an advantage. 
Language
•    Fluent English (written and spoken).
