Please note definition differences between Intern and Co-op:

Intern:  Student works full-time during the summer

Co-op:  Student works part-time while school is in session. Student may work more hours during the summer if not enrolled in classes. Students may work for a minimum of one semester or longer.

Both positions are paid according to current academic standing and job classification.

What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our HBU Sales Team team in Columbus,OH.  The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from May 11, 2026 to August 14, 2026.

What you will be doing:

• Project Work: Supporting Sales Team in tracking drawings, Improve Process, Working with Sales Team to enter Prices in Honda Portal Equote, maintain sales force.
• Success Metrics: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and proactively maintains consistent communication with the sales team. Provides cross-functional support across various areas of the Honda team, applying critical thinking to develop automated solutions-such as streamlined meeting minutes-to enhance efficiency. Effectively manages multiple priorities while consistently meeting project deadlines on time.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Cost Planning Team, cross-functional teams, engineers, project managers.

What you will bring to the table:

• Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
• Relevant Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business or related field.
• Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Commitment: Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP, Strong organization, communication, planning, decision making and leadership skills
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
