To strengthen our IT Infrastructure Team we are looking for a


Service Desk Manager (m/f/d)


in our regional Y-EMEA headquarter in Cologne:


Your responsibilities:


  • Coordinate Service Desk and Network Operations Center team activities to support/resolve incidents, act as facilitator and coordinator in major incidents, review available KPI’s
  • Provide information or supports internal customers in critical events
  • Align with Service Desk and different IT teams for major incidents  
  • Assure Service Desk SLA's accomplishment and KPI’s
  • Guide internal customers on IT services, incidents, request, ideas,
    maintenance and creation of knowledge documentation
  • Identify training opportunities to extend Service Desk support and incident resolution


Your profile:

  • University degree in Information Technology
  • Min. 4-6 years experience in a comparable leading function ideally in the automotive industry
  • Advanced knowledge of support in Microsoft Office, End User Support, Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
  • ITIL Certification would be a plus
  • Good knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
  • Business Fluent (written & spoken) in English and German, other languages would be of advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Results oriented and proactive working style
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10%)
