To oversee and expand our sales of automotive electronic parts (connection systems) through distributors in EMEA, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Distributor Sales Manager.

With a strong background in Sales and distribution management within the automotive sector with a particular focus on electronic components, you will lead the distribution strategy to contribute to our success by driving growth, building relationships and optimizing our distribution channel.

 

Your main responsibilities:
 

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement adapted sales strategies per customers and area to achieve revenue targets and market share growth through distributor channel.
  • Distributor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing distributor, bring appropriate support and drive to ensure a win-win collaboration
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth. Adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports. Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our automotive electronic parts portfolio and keep updated with industry trends to effectively communicate product benefits and features to distributors.
  • Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations with the distributor, including pricing, terms and conditions to ensure mutual profitability.
  • Customer Support: Collaborate with the customer service and technical support teams to resolve distributor issues, ensure satisfaction, and maintain high service standards.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and distributor feedback to senior management. Use data-driven insights to guide sales strategies.

 

Your profile:
 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, specifically in electronic parts. A proven track record in managing distributor channels is mandatory
  • Skills:
    • Ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies.
    • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence and motivate distributor partners.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Strong ownership, ability to make decision and drive engagement
    • Results-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing market conditions.
