We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/d) to take on the responsibility for efficiently managing and coordinating logistics processes at our Eisenach location. As a part of the Yazaki team, you will contribute to ensuring smooth logistics operations that adhere to the highest quality standards.

 

What you’ll be doing: 

 

  • Control of 3PL Resources/Process Setup: Responsible for implementing warehouse processes, including personnel deployment, equipment, and process optimization in collaboration with Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
  • Continuous Monitoring of 3PL Activities: Supervision and organization of the warehouse, definition of processes, allocation of personnel, goods reception, storage, customer deliveries, and development of contingency plans and processes.
  • Analysis of Stock and Transit: Daily analysis to guarantee synchronized delivery and adherence to stock level agreements. Coordination and management in collaboration with customers, 3PL, and Yazaki plants in case of issues.
  • Follow-up/Coordination of Changes: Monitoring and coordination of engineering changes, model year changes, pre-serial phases, reworks, etc., between Yazaki and the 3PL warehouse.
  • Direct Customer Contact: Point of contact for synchronous deliveries, ensuring support and acting as a link between Yazaki and the customer.
  • Information Flow Coordination: Coordination and control of information exchange between customers, 3PL, and YAZAKI
  • Returnable Packaging Management: Management and control of returnable packaging materials.


What you’ll bring with you:

 

  • Completed training or degree in logistics or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in logistics, preferably in the 3PL sector
  • Fluent in German and good English skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented work approach
  • Strong communication skills and a team player
