Location: Canton USA  

 

 

Provides short-term / long-term, on-site support for maintaining facility operations. Interacts daily with third-party providers and external/internal customers.  Provides support to facility management on all Core Distribution functions related to systems, processes, procedures, work instructions, training plans, metrics, and other related projects within the department.   Attends and represents department at internal and external customer meetings.  Plans and conducts on-site/off-site training for all Distribution Centers.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Performs new facility launches and system implementations
  • Identifies and implements best practices within multiple facilities
  • Develops and writes new processes
  • Promotes and performs process improvements
  • Writes work instructions
  • Creates and maintains project plans
  • Plans, coordinates and provides training to all levels of associates
  • Provides mentoring and coaching as necessary
  • Leads teams as required
  • Compiles data to create reports
  • Analyzes metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Prepares and delivers presentations to management and executives
  • Coordinates, attends and documents internal and external customer meetings
  • Operates various types of material handling equipment
  • Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
  • Supports corporate policies and departmental policies
  • Supports EMS/QMS policies and procedures
  • Supports health and safety policies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Associate must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions
  • Advanced knowledge and application of the following systems
    • PKMS
    • Future 3
    • JDE
    • GQRS
    • ARE/ARS
    • Microsoft Office Applications
    • Visio
    • System hardware and software used within the Distribution Centers, including scanners, barcode printers and network printers

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

Degree Requirements:

Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Certification Requirements:

Forklift Certified

Previous Experience:

Three to five years experience in a warehouse or systems environment or in project management

Travel Requirements:

As Required

On Call Requirements:

24/7

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
