What we are looking for:

Yazaki North America, is looking for a Business Development Senior Manager to join our TPNO ECI team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate will provide strategy to advance customer engagement and to develop new business focusing on GBSM product segments (ComBU and Electronics). The ideal candidate will collaborate with our ECI team and aligning priorities across TPNO BUs.

 

 What you will be doing:

  • Develop advanced customer engagement strategies focusing on GBSM product segments.
  • Gather TPNO BU’s GBSM 4 panel strategies and consolidate in a standardized approach with YNA ECI Teams.
  • Create a Short, Mid and Long term strategy for TPNO by  GBSM product segments.
  • Prepare TPNO STP and MTP preparation for ECI products.
  • Develop “Go to Market” strategy focusing on GBSM product segments.
  • Prepare for customers’ techshow and CES event organizations.
  • Work with TPNO BUs to mitigate environmental issues such as tariff and USMCA requirements.
  • Improve TPNO BU’s vertical integration.
  • Hire, train, develop, coach and evaluate TPNO ECI team whose structure and staffing level are in line with current and future business requirements.
  • Develop staff to effectively communicate and negotiate issues at both customer and internal Yazaki areas.
  • Develop, compile and report appropriate TPNO metrics that measure Yazaki performance against strategy plan.

 

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or adjacent discipline required
  • 5 years of experience in Engineering & Sales
  • 8 years of experience in Automotive preferred
  • Ability to travel both domestically & internationaly to our branches,customer and manufacturing sites
  • Ability to work extended hours as required to support launch, customer events and to meet with stakeholders in different time zones
