What we are looking for:

 

Yazaki is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Emerging Automotive Group team in Canton, MI.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. 

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Working with Costing lead and BU senior management to increase the company’s growth and profitability by providing costing support for new business. Will work closely with sales, manufacturing, program management, purchasing, logistics and other functional areas with a focus on improving the quotation process by increasing the accuracy of inputs.
  • Preparing financial models for new business opportunities under supervision and direction of Costing lead.
  • Supporting existing business quotation process with timely updates to provide business unit sales with guidance in developing pricing which meets Yazaki objectives for EBIT, ROI, and cash flow.
  • Analyzing all cost inputs and presenting findings to Costing lead and BU management to drive further discussion of areas of concern or uncertainty.
  • Preparing financial presentations on new business for executive management in conjunction with Costing lead.
  • Developing financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives other than program quotations as required.
  • Providing support to BU finance for ad-hoc requests or improvement initiatives as needed.

 

What you will bring to the table:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years prior experience in financial analysis (project costing experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple simultaneous projects and requests.
