What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a Business Analyst (Strategic Partnership Associate) to join our Strategic Partnership Group (SPG) in Canton, MI or Bay Area, CA. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and help shape innovative business partnerships.

What you will be doing:

• Source and evaluate startup deals, analyze industry trends, and draft investment memos.
• Support Proof of Concept (PoC) development and business integration with startup partners.
• Conduct technical scouting and help create new business opportunities through external solutions.
• Manage PoC and investment processes to ensure smooth partnerships.

What you will bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business (MBA a plus).
• Experience in venture capital or corporate venture capital (internship or professional).
• Strong organizational, communication, and people skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot).
• Language skills in Japanese or Spanish a plus.
• High energy, positive attitude, and collaborative mindset.
