What we are looking for:

 

Yazaki is looking for a Product Coordinator to join our Rework team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. 

 

What you will be doing:

Responsible for Rework Job Set-up, including training operators in rework processes/best practices, and overseeing those operators to ensure proper execution of the rework. Monitors assigned lines to obtain established production and quality targets. Maintains compliance of systems, processes, and procedures.

 

What you will bring to the table:

 

  • Sets-up production tables with required processes and tools independently. May be assisted by an LPC or Team Lead.
  • Perform rework (operator) as required.
  • Provides and documents training for associates on production table processes and related work instructions. May be assisted by an LPC or Team Lead.
  • Maintains component/BOM during the rework activity. May be assisted by an LPC or Team Lead.
  • Monitors reworks to ensure that they are all performed as written
  • Assures established production targets are met
  • Performs quality audits
  • Reviews, resolves, and reports quality and process related issues to immediate Supervisor
  • Reads and understands Concern Studies (CS’s)/Authorized Revisions (A/Rs) and wire harness drawings
  • Coordinates/controls component inventory in support of assigned reworks (as required)
  • Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
  • Supports corporate policies and departmental policies
  • Supports EMS/QMS policies and procedures
  • Supports health and safety policies
