What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our IT Project Management team in Canton, Michigan.  The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from May 11, 2026 to August 14, 2026.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Project Work: Supporting the IT project management team with various improvement projects within IT and throughout the company.
  • Success Metrics: Projects will have stated goals and outcomes that will improve efficiency add value to Yazaki customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the various IT departments (Applications, Data Analytics, AI, Infrastructure) as well as business functions (such as Supply Chain Management, Finannce and Manufacturing)

 

What you will bring to the table:

  • Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
  • Relevant Background: Degree/experience related to the position (e.g., IT, Business, Computer Science, AI, Data Analytics).
  • Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Commitment: Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026
  • Technical Skills: Computer Science and IT skills are preferred, but not mandatory. Candidates should be highly organized, goal oriented and have strong communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
