What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for an Engineering Intern to join the EDS (Engineering Data System) team at Yazaki North America, in Canton, MI.   The intern will support the EDS team with projects developing within the Product Life Management; support new processes in place; and help with data analysis for recourse management decision making.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. 

What you will be doing:

  • Support the EDS team on a variety of areas to include, but not limited to:
    • Quoting new business
    • Engineering training support
    • PowerBI
    • PowerAutomate
    • Product life management
    • Data analysis
    • Policy updates
    • Engineering resource management activities

 What you will bring to the table:

  • Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution at the time of internship
  • Degree/experience related to the position – Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering majors
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Preferred experience in PowerBI or Visual Basic
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
