POSITION SUMMARY

 

Performs tasks involved in Systems Validation of Electronics and Instrumentation.  Interfaces with the customer with regard to Testing Requirements. Interfaces with the Testing Center and other Testing Vendors in both Quoting and Product Development activities. Develops DVP&Rs and Test Plans. Develops custom test equipment as needed.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Review and resolve issues with customer testing requirements for Electronics and Instrumentation Modules.
  • Develop DVP&Rs, Test Flows and Project Level Testing Plans
  • Monitor testing activities and report status to Systems Applications and Program Management
  • Develop or Direct Development of Specialized Test Equipment as needed within Programs.
  • Manage Estimates and Quotes of Testing Activities for Customer RFQs

Previous Experience:

  • Knowledge of Testing Requirements for Electronics and Instrumentation Modules.
  • Familiarity with DVP&Rs, Test Flows, and Test Plans. 
  • Basic Electronic, Mechanical, and Software Design Skills.
  • Yazaki product knowledge helpful but not necessary
