What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for a motivated Co-op join our TPNO Mazda/SIA team in Canton Michigan. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization.
What you will be doing:
- Daily Tasks: Price quotation, costing and discussion support with customer.
- Success Metrics: Long term development of person for future
- Collaboration: Work closely with program management team, production control team and manufacturing members
What you will bring to the table:
- Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
- Relevant Background: Degree/experience related to the position (e.g., Business, marketing, Economic).
- Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Commitment: Availability to work at least 1 year
- Technical Skills: Excel, power point business level skill and attitude to try to take leadership for given role
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
- Language:Fluency in Japanese is required for this position, as it involves regular interaction with Japanese-speaking customers.
