The selected candidate will be responsible for :

Business Development:

  • Management and Coordination of Customer economic activities for Connection Systems
  • Developing current/new customer relationships to earn respect and confidence via reliable customer support.
  • Full responsibility for economic from sales results perspective for the Accounts under his / her responsibility.
  • Drive, for the respective “OEM ” or External Customer, the cross-functional activities needed for the design-in and launch of “off the shelf” as well as “new products” related projects (technical and commercial aspects).

Business Growth:

  • To develop relations with assigned Customers, contributing to building-up Yazaki’s image within the market, and maximising Yazaki’s market share for the supply of components within the Customer.
  • Investigation and development of the assigned Customers, by monitoring of competitor activities, determining possible applications for Connection System products, preparing and providing presentations of current/new products to these customers.
  • To involve the assigned customers and the Yazaki Organization to support the monitoring of major market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Regular follow-up of Account activities to identify sales opportunities, documenting the same for systematic follow-up.

Product portfolio definition / Strategic Planning:

  • Identify product portfolio gaps and upcoming technical trends (including competitor's development).
  • Support Yazaki Organization to translate them into projects and promote them actively to customers.
  • Establish and lead the long-term (LTSF – MTP) Sales plan definition for assigned customers.

Sales Budget & Cost Control:

  • Follow up on the Budget Numbers and related Forecast.
  • Alignment with Sales Support team.

Support to YEL BU's:

  • Full Support and Follow up on all needed Vertical Integration toward our OEM BU


Job skills & qualifications:         

  • Professional degree in mechanical, electronic engineering or management
  • Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in similar area, preferably in automotive
  • Fluent in English
  • In depth understanding of automotive supply chains with specific implications for marketing & sales incl. pricing
  • Persuasive and convincing skills with customers
  • Professional use of all major Microsoft Office applications along with CRM
  • Oriented for performance & results on defined goals
  • Systematic approach in analysis, concept development and implementation for repeatable and sustainable results
  • Ability to differentiate urgency & importance and set priorities accordingly
  • Travel: 30% of the time
