To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Documentation Engineer.
What will your job be about
Ensures in time, data accuracy and completeness of documentation including logs, reports and distribution.
Responsible for controlling and issuing part numbers for newly created parts or documents and tracking the history, revision levels and status through the life of the parts/documents.
Control all internal documents & software (WI, Procedures, specifications, external documents, changes (ECN/TCN), layout, forms, CP, D&PFMEA, PF, test software (product and testers), tools & equipment drawings): record new revisions, delete old revisions, distribute, retrieve
Ensures that document release packages are accurate, complete and current and that all documents are maintained and controlled.
Manage Yazaki BOM’s (create, update according engineering changes)
Manages and tracks product configuration and manufacturing/customer requirements
Responsible for interface between Project Leader, engineering, manufacturing and logistics to ensure appropriate changes are documented.
Draw IMDS files for new and changed products and sends components for tests.
Serve as the document control focal point for assigned customer projects
What We Are Looking For
High School or Technical University Degree - advantage
• Knowledge of technical drawing
• Analytical thinking, initiative, planning, organizing and follow up
• Able to express ideas clearly
• English – advanced
• Strong Team Player
• Excellent communication skills
