What we are looking for:

 

Yazaki is looking for a Sales Representative to join our WCBD Sales team in Canton-MI, Plano-TX, or El Paso-TX.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. 

 

What you will be doing:

 

Lead and/or assist Account Managers in commercial activities related to customer quotations, contract review, accounts receivable, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This may include responsibilities specific to production, pre-production, tooling, and/or service parts.

 

  • Program Support & Metrics: Support program activities by entering and updating information in customer systems and internal systems such as BEAMS, SAP, and SharePoint. Report out monthly metrics. Work in conjunction with the Account Managers to identify and implement sales process improvements.
  • Customer Quotations: Provide or assist in quotations to the customer for service, pre-production, and/or tooling. Coordinate capacity studies as needed.
  • Contract Review: Ensure quoted price and terms match received purchase order. Assist or lead the resolution of conflicts as necessary.
  • Accounts Receivable: Gather financial information including signatures and submit to customer and/or finance. Update appropriate systems. Support finance to resolve any accounts receivable related conflicts.
  • Profitability: Support commercial piece price reduction efforts, accrual initiatives, and profit enhancement objectives.
  • Tooling: Submit customer required information, monitor for approval, and resolve any issues to ensure timely payment.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Cultivate and maintain customer relationships. Understand and report changes to customer processes, structure, and decision makers. Be knowledgeable of product offerings and trends as well as the competitive environment.

 

What you will bring to the table:

 

  • Associate degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent automotive experience
  • Three years in Sales or Program Management for Tier One automotive supplier
